Advanced Asphalt will be installing a binder lift of asphalt on CH 19 between CH 31

(Angling Road) and Route 6 starting on April 12th and through out the week. Use caution

when traveling in that area.


The bridge replacement project on County Highway 8 (The Wyanet-Walnut Road)

approximately 2.25 miles north of Wyanet between the intersections of 1650 N and

1750 N has been temporarily delayed due to utility conflicts. Estimated road closure date

is the 1st week in May.

A bridge replacement project on Jefferson Street between West Owen and West Brewster

Street in the village of Tiskilwa, IL continues to result in a road closure.

D Construction has been awarded the contract  for this project and has 40 working

Days for completion.


W Epperson Road between Captain Swift Bridge Road (1600 N Ave) and

Fairground Ave in Princeton, IL is now open to the traveling public.


Road construction continues on CH 19 between CH 33 (Angling Road) and Route 6.

Use caution when traveling in that area.


The bridge on 1300N over E. Bureau creek 4  miles southeast of the City of Princeton

Is now open to the traveling public.


CH 27 bridge over the interstate is now open to the traveling public.


The Bureau County Highway Department has limited public access to any buildings

or properties maintained by the Highway Department due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
